Set up payments
About 10 minutes. Stripe handles the money side. When you finish, you can sell tickets online and payouts land in your bank.
Have these ready
Your phoneStripe texts you a code
A check, or your bank's routing and account numbersFor payouts
Driver's license or photo IDTo verify it's you
Farm's tax ID (EIN), or your SSN if you're a sole proprietorFor taxes
Everything on this list goes to Stripe, on Stripe's pages. TractorTix never sees your bank numbers or your ID.
1. Tap "Connect payments" in SetupThat opens Stripe's signup. It is free, and there is no monthly cost.
2. Enter your email and phoneStripe texts a 6-digit code. Type it in to confirm it's you.
3. Tell Stripe about your farmBusiness type (most farms pick Individual / Sole proprietor, or LLC if that's how you file), farm name, and address. Under "what do you sell," pick admissions and tickets.
4. Add your bank accountRouting number and account number, both printed on any check. This is where your ticket money goes.
5. Verify your identityYour legal name and date of birth, plus your tax ID. Stripe may ask for a photo of your ID. That's normal, and it's how they keep accounts safe.
6. Review and finishCheck the details, tap submit, and you're back in TractorTix. Most farms are approved on the spot.
When do I get paid?
The first payout takes a few extra days while Stripe finishes checking. After that, payouts land in your bank on a rolling 2-day schedule. You can see every payout in Stripe, any time.
What if it gets stuck?
Almost always one of two things: the name doesn't match your tax records exactly, or Stripe sent a follow-up email asking for one more document. Fix the name to match your tax filing, or check your email for Stripe's message.
